“AP SLR-TS” type roller chains are designed for drive chains with the same strength of carbon steel roller chains and with corrosion resistance and self lubrication. All components, except the oil-impregnated bushings, are treated with a dual layer coat treatment process before the chain is assembled to insure maximum protection. “AP SLR-TS” type roller chain is lubricated prior to delivery.
AP SLR-TS type roller chains have a longer pin length than the SBR type roller chain. Make sure there will be no interference with equipment. AP SLR-TS type multiple strand chains are not designed to be used with standard sprockets. Connecting links are “cotter” style for all sizes above 100 AP SLR-TS. Consult SUGIYAMA for offset links. Service life decreases dramatically if the lubricant in the oil-impregnated bushings is depleted. The lubrication in the oil-impregnated bushings will seep out rapidly when the operating temperature exceeds 70℃. A wet or dusty environment may lead to premature wearing. It is not recommended for applications which are exposed to chemicals or water, or associated with a shock load. Do not use Aqua-Proof chains in applications where chain may come in direct contact with food or where coating flakes or wear dust can contaminate food.
